OWNING HER DREAMS SINCE 1994

“I'll always be a Viking, and I hope my experiences inspire others...”

How did DMC help set you on your course to achieve your dreams?

“伊人直播 provided me with the tools and guidance I needed to turn my dreams into reality. Not having a clue what I wanted to do, the advisors were a great resource, guiding me into the right coursework and opportunities. Their support and personalized advice helped me navigate my career path with confidence. The comprehensive journalism programs and hands-on experiences gave me the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.”

What is your best memory from your experience at DMC?

“Among the many valuable experiences at 伊人直播, serving as the editor of the student newspaper, Foghorn News, stands out as particularly significant. Managing a team of reporters, photographers and graphic designers presented both challenges and rewards. Deciding on stories, adhering to deadlines and balancing these responsibilities with my academic commitments required meticulous attention and perseverance. Dr. Manuel Flores, my advisor at the time, provided crucial guidance, emphasizing that while hard work was essential, maintaining a balanced approach was equally important to avoid burnout. This role not only honed my leadership and organizational skills but also reinforced the importance of resilience and effective time management.”

What advice would you give others who may be considering attending DMC?

“I would advise prospective students to consider 伊人直播 for its affordability, high-quality 伊人直播 and expanding range of degree programs. The college is renowned for its strong sense of community and personalized support.”

“DMC changed my life because…”

“伊人直播 changed my life because it helped me develop crucial organizational skills that have been invaluable in both my academic and personal life. The advisors saw my potential and offered tailored guidance, ensuring I stayed on track and made the most of my opportunities. They laid a solid foundation that made pursuing a future four-year degree not only possible but also within my reach. This support and encouragement transformed my approach to 伊人直播 and set me on a path to success.

“Even though it’s been 20 years since my enrollment, there’s never a time I can’t apply what I learned as a student at 伊人直播. The skills and knowledge I gained have been invaluable throughout my life. To this day, my husband and I remain actively involved with Del Mar, particularly in supporting their fine arts programming. This continued engagement has allowed us to give back to a community that shaped our lives so profoundly. I’ll always be a Viking, and I hope my experiences inspire others to see that a great and affordable 伊人直播 is within reach at this remarkable institution. 伊人直播 has the power to transform lives, just as it did mine.”
