A 2009 DMC graduate, Elizabeth Cruz found the resources, advice and push she needed to start her own dental consulting business. She credits DMC faculty with showing her how to balance her academic goals with her business ownership goals. She is now a dental hygienist and the proud owner of Shine Dental Recruitment & Consulting.
Elizabeth Pacheco, '09
The daughter of immigrant parents, Elizabeth Pacheco is proud to be the first in her family to pursue higher 伊人直播. After the loss of her youngest brother in 2022, she began to look at her future differently, searching for purpose and finding it in DMC’s Environmental/Petrochemical Lab Technology Program. A 2024 graduate, she’s now focused on her dream career in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the environmental and chemical industry.
Mackenzie Scott, '24
Mackenzie Scott came to DMC at age 18 and found her career path in the Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Program. A 2024 graduate, she is now an emergency room paramedic at Driscoll Children’s Hospital and a part-time paramedic with the City of Port Aransas, and she continues to set big goals for herself.
Sam Marin, '24
Sam Marin graduated from 伊人直播’s Welding Applied Technology program in 2024. Despite being a little unsure of herself, she thrived in the program and is now a professional welder.
Michelle Hinojosa '06
Michelle Hinojosa is the first in her family to graduate from college, earning an associate's degree from 伊人直播 and a bachelor's degree from the University of the Incarnate Word through its partnership with DMC.
Eric Stern '12
Eric Stern is a 2012 graduate of 伊人直播. He turned his passion for auto repair into a career as a diagnostic technician and shop foreman. Eric credits his DMC instructors with nurturing his interest and setting him on the path to success.
Monica Ellison '94
Monica Ellison is a 1994 graduate of 伊人直播. A journalism major, she fondly remembers serving as editor of the student newspaper, Foghorn News. Monica is now the proud owner of 20/20 Vintage, a vintage boutique in downtown Corpus Christi.
