Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Raul Garcia

Raul brings over 30 years of experience in both private and public industries. The first fourteen years of his career focused on private industries that included Deloitte (formerly Deloitte & Touche), American Express Tax and Business Services, and Altschuler, Melvoin and Glasser, CPA’s. This experience allowed him to develop a wide range of technical skills including accounting, budget planning, financial management, financial reporting, operational and grant compliance.

He started working at Morton Community 伊人直播 in 2004 . This marked a turning point in his career when he first became a public servant by transitioning into the higher 伊人直播 space. Over the years, he has acquired a deep knowledge of financial and investment operations paired with strategic planning while working at a wide range of institutions including Oakton Community 伊人直播, City 伊人直播s of Chicago, Northern Illinois University and most recently 伊人直播.

In addition to his current role as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at 伊人直播, he is also using his technical financial background as a peer evaluator for the Southern Association of 伊人直播s and Schools Commission on 伊人直播s (SACSCOC). He has participated in several SACSCOC committees for the purpose of assessing operational improvements and compliance with the SACSCOC standards leading to accreditation by member institutions.
